Who you will be working with
Siddharth T Janakiraman founded AequiRadix and brings twenty years of statutory and regulatory practice in India and abroad. He led our engagement as the turnkey statutory approvals consultant for an LNG import terminal in Tamil Nadu, coordinating the clearances, approvals, licences and NOCs the project required. The work covered Tamil Nadu Single Window clearance, the Site Appraisal Committee, DTCP building plan approval, several PESO approvals and licences, the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, AAI height clearance, a number of NOCs from the district administration, and more.
He is a law graduate, and he approaches each file by reading the rule first, then the form, and then how the department applies both in practice. This is most useful when a file becomes difficult: an application held up between two departments, approval conditions that no longer suit the plant, or a notice that needs a considered reply. He also practises as an intellectual property strategist, work that calls for the same close reading of the instrument and the same care in building a record. He directly oversees every AequiRadix engagement.
