Where applications go wrong, and what we check
- Wrong coordinates or elevations. Figures that do not match the survey certificate get the application rejected, and an NOC based on them is void.
- Assuming the building exemption covers a stack. AAI's automatic letter covers buildings and windmills, so chimneys, stacks, cranes and masts inside the radius go through NOCAS.
- A stack set only by the consent. A stack height fixed for emissions under the TNPCB consent can exceed what AAI allows.
- Building taller than approved. A taller design needs review before the extra height goes up.
