Site and building plans, machinery layout and process flow, filed before you build, extend or install machinery.
Stability certificate
From a competent person before manufacturing starts, and renewed when it expires.
Factory registration and licence
Form No. 2 filed online; DISH inspects the factory and issues the licence in Form No. 4.
Licence amendments and transfers
More horse power or workers, a new name, or a new occupier.
Renewals and annual returns
Keeping the licence current and the returns filed.
Where applications go wrong, and what we check
- Building before plan approval. Plan approval comes before you use the site, build or install machinery, and the building must match the approved plans.
- A licence that does not match the plant. The issued licence's workers, horse power and process must match what you will run.
- Missing the amendment window. More horse power, more workers or a new name needs an amendment at least 15 days before the change.
- A new process without site appraisal. A hazardous new process may need site appraisal as well as plan approval.
