Where applications go wrong, and what we check
- Taking the service release as CEIG approval. The distribution company's willingness to connect does not answer the safety question.
- Deciding applicability from voltage alone. Voltage by itself does not settle whether inspection applies.
- Energising before written approval. The approval comes first.
- Hazardous areas left off the drawing. Hazardous-area electrical classification belongs on the drawing.
